Miriam Velez has been a chiropractic assistant with Premier Health since 2002.  She speaks fluent Spanish, she is able to help the Spanish speaking patients feel at ease in the clinic.  She enjoys being a chiropractic assistant as she participates in the patient's healing process and sees their successful results with the clinic.  She is a strong believer in chiropractic and its ability to restore each individual's body to a natural state of health.  Miriam lives in Minneapolis with her two daughters Ashley and Stephanie.  She enjoys running at the neighborhood lakes, keeping up with her fitness at the health club, kick boxing, Salsa dancing, and spending weekends with her family.

Alyssa is a chiropractic assistant who graduated from High Tech Institute in 2007 as a x-ray technician.  She was born and raised in Roseville, MN and now is raising her family there as well.  Alyssa enjoys working with patients, getting to know them individually, and making sure their needs are met.  Alyssa lives with her two boys Donovan(4) and Ayden(2) in Roseville.  She spends most of her time outside of work with her two busy boys doing anything from watching movies to dressing up as superheroes.  She enjoys swimming, getting together with friends, and shopping.  Premier Health has been a rewarding job to Alyssa, as she enjoys the high pace environment and the personal relationships she has built. 

Kelsey graduated from Concordia University with a degree in kinesiology.  She is currently enrolled at Northwestern Health Sciences University to be a Doctor of Chiropractic.  When she isn't working she can be found waterskiing on the Mississippi River or walking around the lakes of Minneapolis.

Ashley is the youngster of the staff.  She spent time after high school traveling around the world and lived in Maui Hawaii with an organization called YWAM.  She was born in Wisconsin and raised in Minnesota.  She currently lives with her family and adorable puppy Zoie in Plymouth.  She enjoys bargain shopping:) traveling, being involved at her church and working with kids!

Dr. Jeff Elliot was born and raised in Waconia, MN and participated in a variety of sports and outdoor activities.  Dr. Elliot completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at UW-River Falls.  He then moved to Bloomington, MN where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern in 2008.  Dr. Elliot also completed post-graduate programs in acupuncture and nutrition.  

The driving force for Dr. Elliot's career in chiropractic came at the young age of 16, when his older brother was suffering from a severe back injury, where he got help from a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Prior to graduating from Northwestern Dr. Elliot spent several weeks in Costa Rica doing mission work, volunteering his time and chiropractic skills to underprivileged communities.  When Dr. Elliot is not treating patients, he enjoys being active.  He participates in coed volleyball and softball leagues, going to a Twins or Vikings game, going to '80's cover bands, and taking his dog to the park are among his favorites. 

Amanda graduated from Michigan Tech in 2009 and has been pursuing further education in the Twin Cities.  She joined the Premier Health team in 2011, and loves getting to know the patients and entertaining them with her "bubbly" personality.  When she's not at work, Amanda loves to go running around Lake Calhoun, snowboarding, dancing the night away, or cuddled up watching old movies.
